Fenton Village Players announce the open auditions for roles in the smash Broadway Musical hit INTO THE WOODS. We are sure that you fondly remember those childhood fairy tales that we all grew up with—Cinderella, Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Jack In The Beanstalk among others. Well this musical tells us what happens after the ‘happy endings’ of those stories. This show gives us ‘The Rest Of The Story’—the complete answer to the question “What happened next?”
We need a large cast with a wide range of ages. We do not want this production confused with the childhood version of the fairy tales so we will audition ages 14 and up with preference given to ages 16 and up. Bring a photo of yourself. Please prepare for the music audition by bringing 32 bars from an upbeat show tune or ballad. If you want accompaniment bring your own sheet music in the key you want to sing. You can also sing acapella but NO CD’s please!
