Open Auditions for ESCANABA IN LOVE–By Jeff Daniels. The Story of The Soady Deer Camp in Uper territory. This performance requires six characters of varying age range from 18 to 70 plus or minus a few years depending on the overall casting. The audition dates are July 30 and 31(Monday and Tuesday) at 6:30 at the Fenton Villager Playhouse. The show dates are Sept 6-9 & 13-16. It promises to be an interesting romp thru the Upper Peninsula. You can tell by the attached age ranges that the ages we are looking for are really not set in stone. It will all depend on how the cast fits together so this is a great show to try out for. The characters needed are:
Alphonse Soady—Grandfather type (around age 70)
Albert Soady Sr.—father type (around age 50)
Jim Negamanee (Salty)—family friend (in his 40’s somewhere)
Albert Soady Jr.—the son (around 18)
Big Betty Balou—the love interest?! (somewhere in her 20’s)
