FLINT YOUTH THEATRE INVITES MID-MICHIGAN 5 THROUGH 12 GRADE STUDENTS TO AUDITION FOR “THE MIRACLE WORKER”

Flint Youth Theatre announces open auditions and technical interviews for The Miracle Worker, by William Gibson. This play will be directed by Jeremy Winchester and performed on the FYT stage October 18 through November 3. FYT is looking for a student to take on the challenging and rewarding role of young Helen Keller. A full company of students are also needed for the cast and crew to bring this true story to life onstage.

Students are invited to audition and interview to be a part of this play.

Open to all students grades 5 to 12

Auditions:  Saturday, September 7, 2 P.M. – 5:30 P.M. (check in after 1:30 P.M.)

Call-backs:  Tuesday, September 10, 6 P.M. – 9:30 P.M. (if needed)

Tech Interviews:  Saturday, September 7, 2 P.M. – 3 P.M. (check in after 1:30 P.M.)

• Auditions are for students interested in being in the show. Students are asked to plan to attend the entire audition.
• Tech interviews are for students interested in working backstage.
• Students may apply for both.

Rehearsals: Beginning September 17, Tuesdays through Fridays, 6:30 P.M. – 9:30 P.M.,
Saturdays, 2 P.M. – 5:30 P.M.

Tech: Saturday, October 12, 12 P.M. – 8 P.M., Monday, October 14 through Thursday,
October 17, 6 P.M. – 9:30 P.M.
